Creamy Beef & Shells

Does anyone else love cheesy pasta, or is it just me?

Yep, I'm a fan and so is my family.  Normally I'd take a shortcut on this one, but it was so incredibly easy to put this meal together - no more store shortcuts for this Momma!

Seriously - you guys can do this too.  Here's what you need:

1 pound ground beef
1/2 white onion, finely chopped
2 cups beef stock
1 can tomato sauce
1 medium bag pasta shells
2 Tablespoons flour
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
2 cups shredded cheese
3/4 cup heavy cream

Begin by boiling water for your pasta shells.  Cook those accordingly.

Start off by browning your ground beef.  Once cooked, add in your onion - cook until softened.  Stir in your seasoning, (plus salt & pepper to taste).

Next you want to add your flour and stir into your beef and onion mixture.  Slowly begin adding the beef stock, stirring consistently.

Once incorporated, add in your tomato sauce and stir.

Add your cooked pasta and mix everything together.  Pour in your heavy cream and bring to a slow simmer.  Stir well.

Finally - add your cheese!  Allow it to melt into everything!  Once it's melted you are ready to serve!

Add a side salad or bread to this, or just indulge in this perfect comfort meal.

Cheers!
